THAT SAID we don't want anyone feeling nervous, so as a parent or carer don't worry you'll get to pop in and help settle your child before you go. MINI MOVEMENT & MINDFULNESS WORKSHOP | Here’s a little roundup of the movement and mindfulness workshop that took place last week for children ages 5-9. It included 45 minutes of movement (a combination of yoga postures and dance), breathing exercises and then 45 minutes of mindfulness activities with some healthy snacks. Our focus was on gratitude, something you can start to teach children from a young age. It was simplified by asking them to think about the things that had made them smile that day. It was so lovely hearing their responses and seeing them come to life through drawings. We’re going to run another one at the end of the summer before schools go back. BREATHE & BRUNCH - BOUNDARIES | On the weekend 10 amazing women came together in the Nafas Studio to learn how fo set boundaries. @dana_stevens_coach led the interactive workshop, which was topped and tailed by breathwork and movement by me, Kat Yousefi, the face and brains behind this space. When my husband and I bought and remodelled our house 4 years ago, it was always with the intention for me to have a designated yoga space. A space that could welcome people in to connect and interact and become part of a community. These events are at the core of what the Nafas Studio is all about - a safe space for us all to relax and BREATHE. HUGE thank you to everyone that came. BIG THANKS to @dana_stevens_coach and to my children for putting up with the pre work that literally went on around them (check out the video). To my husband who landed the day before and then had to get out of the house with our girls for the best part of the day! The next BREATHE & BRUNCH takes place on SATURDAY 28th SEPTEMBER. After lots of requests I’m excited to share that we’ll be leading a movement and mindfulness workshop for mini’s (aged 5-9) in the Nafas Studio, to kickstart the summer holidays.

This is
MINI MOVEMENT & MINDFULNESS WORKSHOP | After lots of requests I’m excited to share that we’ll be leading a movement and mindfulness workshop for mini’s (aged 5-9) in the Nafas Studio, to kickstart the summer holidays. This is an opportunity for your child to meet and connect with other children, learn some yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness activities, all in a fun and interactive way. Movement and mindfulness has HUGE benefits for children. It aids concentration, builds strength and enables them to learn how to tune into their bodies more and regulate their nervous system. The workshop is broken into 2 parts: 45 minutes of movement (yoga postures, breathwork and a bit of dance) 45 minutes of mindfulness activities with a drink and a snack Music will be played throughout to aid the overall experience. Please note this is a drop and go event, so you’ll need to ensure your child is confident to stay on their own. We’re fully DBS checked and ready to go!
